In this auction you get ONE ENTIRE SET of the dishes I purchased at the Lionsgate Hunger Games Auction earlier this year! THIS IS MY LAST SET OF DISHES! DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS UNIQUE, RARE SET!!!
This set includes:
• ONE Serving Platter (This very large plate/serving platter measures approximately 12 inches.)
• ONE Dinner Plate (The plate measures approximately 10 inches.)
• ONE Salad Plate (The plate measures approximately 8 inches.)
• ONE Tea Cup and ONE Saucer (The saucer measures approximately 4.5 inches and the cup is a little over 2 inches tall. It's more like an espresso cup and saucer. The golden Panem emblem is ONLY painted on the saucer portion. It is NOT painted on the cup as well.)
This set of dishes is from President Snow's Capitol dishes set - real on screen props from the Mockingjay Part 2 film (see pictures) that were used in the scene where President Snow hosts the dinner party.
The dishes are made by non-fictional porcelain manufacturer Maison de la Porcelaine of France, and feature the Panem logo hand painted on them in gold. I was advised by the auction house to NOT use these dishes to eat off of as they weren't sure what paint was used for the Panem logo. Also, they were unsure if these would be safe to wash (again, unsure of the paint used) - so this item is for decoration only! To be clear, the production crew bought real porcelain dishes and hand painted the logo on, so that logo is not permanent or set into the dishes.
***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION*** I included it in the photo for proof that I did purchase this particular auction lot from the Lionsgate Hunger Games prop and costume auction that took place earlier this year.
Shipping will include both tracking AND insurance to make sure it arrives safe. :) And I pack items very well. I have sold two full sets already and everything arrived safe.
